Privacy Policy

What 5UP5 collects at this stage, and what it doesn’t.

Last updated: August 2026

Where we stand today

5UP5 is currently a static, informational website. We don’t have user accounts, we don’t process travel payments, and we don’t take bookings directly — all of that happens on a third-party provider’s own site once you leave 5UP5.

Basic website analytics

Like most websites, we may use basic analytics tools to understand how many people visit 5UP5, which pages they view, and which links they follow. This typically includes your IP address, approximate location by country or city, device and browser information, and general usage information such as pages viewed and time on site.

Cookies

5UP5 may use cookies or similar technologies for basic analytics and to remember simple site preferences. You can block or clear cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Affiliate tracking and outbound links

When you follow a link from 5UP5 to a travel partner, that link may include a tracking code so the partner can credit 5UP5 for the referral, as part of an affiliate network such as Travelpayouts. This is standard for affiliate websites. Once you land on a partner’s site, their own privacy policy governs what happens next — we don’t see or control what they collect.

Referral information

We may see which page or link referred you to 5UP5, and which page or partner link you left through, as part of standard web and affiliate analytics.

Third-party services

We work with travel data and affiliate providers, including Travelpayouts and the individual travel brands available through its network, to source prices and affiliate links as those integrations come online. Each of those has its own privacy policy governing what happens on their site.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update this page as 5UP5 develops — for example, if we introduce APIs, user accounts, price alerts, or personalization features that change what data we collect.
